Fordrix Advisors was founded by Scott Forgues in Tucson, Arizona in 2010 to better serve my clients' needs. My focus is on individualized attention and a concern for the well being of my clients. Honesty, integrity, and attention to detail are hallmarks of the firm.

Whether it be managing your portfolio, developing a retirement plan, building an income in retirement, identifying tax saving ideas, or developing strategies to manage risk in your financial life, I'm dedicated to providing innovative solutions to clients.

My business philosophy is based on the idea that when I serve my clients well we mutually benefit as we help each other reach our goals.

Scott has been a Financial Advisor in Tucson since 2006 where he has built a practice using his 25+ years of personal experience in investments and financial planning to build portfolios and design strategies that take into account the goals and dreams of his clients while being rooted in a solid financial plan. Scott enjoys educating his clients about their investments whether it is explaining the basics about stocks, bonds and mutual funds or discussing cash flow and potential tax saving strategies with clients who are looking for a deeper understanding of financial planning strategies. Scott primarily works out of his home office, meeting with clients by appointment at convenient locations.

Scott is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® which he achieved after completing the CFP® Certification Curriculum through The American College in Bryn Mawr, PA. He holds the Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses and the Health, Life, and Variable Annuities License in Arizona. Scott also completed the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation through the College for Financial Planning in Colorado.

Previously, Scott joined the Adjunct Faculty of Park University at the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base Campus. He has taught courses in Financial Institutions and Markets as well as Investment Analysis and Management.

Scott is originally from Massachusetts where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering at The University of Lowell. His first job was with AT&T Bell Laboratories in Reading, PA where he designed integrated circuits for various applications. During this time he earned his MSEE at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. 

In 1996, Scott transferred to Tucson, Arizona where he worked at National Semiconductor as an integrated circuit designer and was eventually promoted to Senior Design Center Manager. While at National Semiconductor, Scott earned the Masters in Business Administration from the Eller College of Management at The University of Arizona.  Scott also completed the prestigious Entrepreneurship Program at the Eller School of Business, an internationally recognized top-10 entrepreneurship program.

Scott is married to Lori Forgues, a local Veterinarian. They have two children, Grant and Brielle. He previously was active in Boy Scout Troop 141 and has been a volunteer with organizations such as Junior Achievement, Kiwanis and Rotary. Scott loves to travel and enjoys cycling, tennis and skiing in his spare time.
